Did you know that all behaviours serve a purpose, even if a particular behaviour appears puzzling, irrational or just plainly bizzare? Trying to figure out the reasons behind someone’s puzzling behaviours is often difficult as such behaviours are often controlled by fear or by a need to meet a deeper unconscious yearning. The key to changing behaviour is therefore to understand what those yearning needs are and then to find legitimate and healthier ways of meeting them.
This course is designed with two major goals in mind; a. to help
participants discover more fully their authentic self (with all its layers of complexities
and unconscious needs) and b. to surface and meet those needs in order to grow
in more fulfilling ways. With growth come changes in our actions and behaviour
and along with this, improvement in the quality of our relationships around us.
This Satir Growth Model course, a part-time 12 month long program
has been designed specifically to assist you in your personal growth as well as
help you acquire the skills you can use to help yourself and others cope more
effectively with life’s many challenges. Sign up and learn how to be free from
your own unconscious emotional knots and grow to be a more congruent and happier
person and a more effective counsellor to those in need of your help.
