The course fee of RM4,500.00 for the 15 month CCC training program (participants with approved prior Satir Training starting from 2^nd Intensive Class will pay RM4,000.00) will cover the entire course, & include handouts & notes required for the course (excluding RM150.00 examination fee).

The course fee is payable in two instalments of Rm 2,250.00 per instalment (RM2,000.00 for those starting from 2^nd Intensive Class).  The first instalment of RM2,250.00 is payable upon registration & before the commencement of the course in July 2018. The second instalment of RM2,250.00 (RM2,000.00 if applicable) is to be paid before the commencement of the 2^nd Intensive class in Nov. Fees already paid are not refundable should the candidate fail to complete or drop out of the course before its completion.

The CCC course is practice-oriented and skills-based, with emphasis on growing the person of the counselor plus the practical application of the Satir Brief Therapy Model in couple counseling.  It is for both lay & professional counselors who would like to venture into couple counseling or are already seeing couples as part of their work. 

Warren will utilize interactive lecturettes, small group discussions, structured exercises,  demo (live demo sessions with clients as well as participants), experiential learning and skills practice sessions as well as sharing video tape presentations of his sessions with couples during class as part of the training. 

Warren who is also the clinical supervisor for the course will supervise participants throughout the 15 months duration of the course in the application of the Satir Model of Brief Therapy with couples in the local context.  Participants are required to attend a total of 15 days (3 days x 5 times) of intensive (7 hours) day long classroom training during the 15 months course (participants who have previously attended Warren’s Cert. in Satir training courses or an approved Satir courses of a minimum duration of 12 days or 84 hours are exempted from the first 3 day Intensive class and will start from the 2^nd Intensive class in June).

Each Intensive class will be for 3 full days (9:30am-5:30pm), once every 3 months on average. Except for scheduled breaks, clinical supervision for participants will be scheduled throughout the 15 month duration of the course (once in 4-6 weeks) to maximize skills application in couple counseling.

For counselors, couple counseling is not a difficult subject to understand theoretically, but couple counseling in practice remains one of the most difficult and daunting area to confidently and competently tackle even for experienced counselors.  In this 15 month part-time Certificate in Couple Counseling course, Warren brings to bear, over 30 years of his own learning, reflection and experience in helping countless couples navigate through the difficulties in their couple relationship. The emphasis is on a very practical & practice-orientated skills-based approach to training for counselors who would like to do a better job at helping couples.

This Certificate in Couple Counseling course is designed for those who would like to learn how to be more confident and effective in helping couples.  Both beginner as well as experienced counselors in couple counseling will benefit from this practical & practice-oriented approach to learning to be a more effective couple counselor.
